Be Wary of Banks You Transact Business With - Deputy Mins Warns Ghanaians

Deputy Minister for Works and Housing, Eugene Boakye Antwi has warned Ghanaians to be careful with the banks they transact business with.

According to him thieves dressed in suits indulge themselves in banking services whenever they want to extract money through dubious means from the populace.

He emphatically stated that, “the Ghanaian economy is going through hardship and trying times because the financial sector was poorly managed under the previous government, leaving a lot of citizens to lose their hard earned resources to fraudulent banks”.

The Subin Constituency Member of Parliament(MP) insisted that members of the NDC cannot claim they have well managed the Ghanaian economy during their tenure in office.

“Yes, it is true and I say with no apology that corrupt persons in Ghanaian economy now go into banking because that is where they make money to live flamboyant lifestyles,” he stated on UTV’s ‘Adekye Nsroma’ Political programme.
