The Staunch Queens, an association of vibrant, enthusiastic, dedicated and energetic ladies of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) has successfully ended a six day Coastal Drive and Capacity Building program geared towards energizing and mobilizing the grassroots of the party ahead of election 2020 and beyond.

The program which started on 12th August, 2019 with a series of trainings and capacity building programs ended on 17th August, 2019.

Participants benefited from vocational and artisanal skills such as, dress sewing, make-up training, ice cream preparation training, hair dressing, soap making, popsicle making, among others at no charge to all the participants.

The program which was hosted at Ningo Prampram in the Greater Accra Region, was graced by CEOs, Directors, MMDCEs, National, Regional and Constituency leadership of the party, other government appointees , NPP activists, and the general public.

Beneficiaries of the program expressed their heartfelt appreciations to the NPP Staunch Queens for organizing such a grassroots oriented programme.

The National President of the Staunch Queens, miss Priscilla Akua Okorno and her executives charged the ladies and all participants to take advantage of flagship policies and programmes of the Akufo-Addo led administration such as, Planting for Food and Jobs, free SHS, National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program(NEIP), Youth Employment, Zongo Development Fund, among others which directly benefit the youth to better their fortunes.

She also implored the ladies to dedicate and volunteer themselves towards election 2020 to retain NPP government for Ghana’s sustainable development.
