Mrs Afua Adoboe has offered herself to become the next parliamentary candidate and the subsequent Member of Parliament (MP) for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency in the Greater Accra Region on the ticket of the NDC.

Her mission basically is centered on working relentlessly and tirelessly to win the parliamentary seat as well as the Presidential election for the NDC comes 2020 general elections.

In monitoring her vision statement, AFUA sets to whip enthusiasm in building the party wholesomely in the constituency.

She seeks to acquire a modern state office complex which befits the constituency that has a large number of our constituents.

The concept of women and the youth empowerment has become the foundational pillars in this direction.
With the wealth of enormous experience at her disposal, there is no doubt that she cannot wrestle power for the NDC from the NPP candidate.

Afua Adoboe hails from Ve-Wudome in the Afadjato South district of the Volta Region.

She has lived in the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency for over twenty years and worked tirelessly to enhance and develop the NDC’s agenda in the constituency.

She holds an MSc in Defense and International Politics from the Prestigious Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC). 

She has also participated in a peace operation course at the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC). 

She also holds a Master of Arts in Local Government Administration and Organization from the Institute of Local Government Studies (ILGS), Accra and Post graduate certificate in Public Administration from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).

Afua is currently working with the Communications and International Relations Department of the Ghana National Association of Teachers( GNAT).

She is also a Director at Esoosolar, a power initiative for solar power company in Accra, and a Director of AD Resources Ltd.

Afua Adoboe is married to Mr. Augustine Adoboe, an Environmental Water & Sanitation consultant and is blessed with four sons. Since 1993, AFUA has been involved in the internal politics of the NDC and held important positions both at the governmental and internal party organization.

The time has come for the constituents of Ayawaso West Wuogon to give her their mandate to serve them in humility and the fear of the Lord. She is endowed with the spirit of care, concern and humility to serve mankind and create a positive change. AFUA is a good team player and an excellent communicator with a vast wealth of knowledge.

As a security analyst she doubles as a woman of substance and will institute pragmatic measures to create a security conscious environment of the constituency.

The political famine period of the NDC in the constituency is over now and AFUA ADOBOE will lead the NDC to wrestle power from the ruling NPP candidate in the 2020 general elections. This feat can only be realized when she wins the primaries by the votes of all well- respected delegates of our great party.
Mrs Afua Adoboe is the obvious choice of the constituency.
