The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary primaries have ended in some constituencies and counting is underway.

524 aspirants are gunning to become parliamentary candidates in 157 constituencies across the country.

Meanwhile, some of the candidates who went unopposed have been confirmed as the party's parliamentary candidate for the 2020 election.

Joseph Ade Coker has described the election as generally peaceful.
