Akufo-Addo Investing Heavily In The Youth Through Education - Kingsley Agyemang Tells Stakeholders In India

The decision to invest heavily in the youth through education by the Akufo-Addo led government, was touched on and highlighted during a summit held in India.

In an address delivered by the Scholarships Secretariat Registrar, Mr Kingsley Agyemang during the summit, he informed the gathering that through the scholarship scheme, a number brilliant-but-needy students have benefitted significantly.

The conference dubbed, India-Africa Higher Education and Skill Development Summit offered Mr. Agyemang the opportunity to throw more light on how President Akufo-Addo's administration is giving hope to the Ghanaian youth through education.

In an interview with Peacefmonline.com, Mr Agyemang noted that "during the India-African Higher Education and Skill Development Summit, I threw more light on how the Akufo-Addo-led government, through the Scholarship Secretariat, is investing heavily in the youth through education."

He continued that "I told the high powered delegation how Ghana and India can also partner in the educational sector if the successful Indian story is to be emulated."

Aside delivering the address, Mr. Agyemang added that the summit afforded the Ghana Scholarships Secretariat the opportunity to interact with stakeholders in the educational sector.

He concluded that the summit would pave way for stakeholders to know the potential areas the Government of Ghana can invest and provide the necessary funding for the skills gap identified in Ghana’s development.
