Saltpond S.R.I Beach will on September 1, 2019 host patrons of the talented youth in Saltpond and its environs at a plush event organized by Nkusukum Traditional Council /Korsa Brown.

The organizers of the event are, therefore, urging the general public to bring their family and friends for a treat of a lifetime.

Speaking to one of the organizers, Korsa Brown, indicated that “there are some hidden talents in the youth which need to be noticed, so we are using this platform to unveil those talents on the day...We are looking out for great musicians, actors and actresses and big personalities...We believe if those people come, our youth with hidden talent can get the opportunity to be noticed and get to perform on bigger platforms".

He added that the event is also geared towards improving tourism in the area and further aimed at creating employment opportunities through Creative Arts.

“In line with youth unemployment in the area, one of the agenda is to use the occasion to reduce unemployment because when they are noticed, it will create job opportunity for them”, he stated.

Mr. Brown also revealed some artists billed for the programme including Sarkodie, Eno Barony, Chemphe, Stay jay, Mahrany-Lokal, Kalybos and DJ Mensah among others to spice the day with good music and entertainment.

“Apart from unveiling the talent and music show, other activities include foundry sand, acrobatics, dancing, horse riding, eating and drinking competitions, football..." he emphasized.
