Government Completing Former Prez Mahama’s E-Blocks – Buabeng Asamoah

National Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and Member of Parliament for Adentan constituency, Yaw Buabeng Asamoah has disclosed that the government has started completing former President Mahama’s Community Day Senior High Schools.

He says the project funded by the GetFund secretariat is expected to be completed for use in no time.

Speaking on Okay FM’s 'Ade Akye Abia' program, he explained that the NPP government unlike the NDC administration which abandoned projects of the then Kuffour government has begun works on other projects which were left uncompleted by the Mahama administration.

A typical example is the Wa regional hospital which was recently commissioned by the President.

The government has also released funds for the completion of the Saglemi housing project which the Mahama administration squandered funds.

"So why should the former President complain about the uncompletion of his projects?" he asked.

The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama, has expressed worry over the government’s failure to continue the Mpaha Community Day School in the Central Gonja District.

The former president finds it disappointing that a project in the Yapei Kusawgu Constituency of the Savanna region, which could transform education in the area is left to rot under this current administration.

“In my rounds touring communities across the country, I have drawn attention to the criminal abandonment of projects and this is one very good example.

“This is an almost complete project of Secondary School and Community Day School . . . you can even see fire extinguishers installed and ready to go . . . this is one of the 23 World Bank-funded projects,” he told journalists.
