The Future Of Ghana Is Safe Under Akufo Addo – Kwabena Ampofo Appiah

The Managing Director of the State Housing Company Limited (SHC), Kwabena Ampofo Appiah, has said Ghana is safe under President

However, he has noted that within the first 3 years of President Akufo-Addo, he has worked and improved Ghana than the granted tenure former president Mahama spent as head of state.

“I don’t think it is about Akufo-Addo coming and having changed everything all of a sudden. I do think that he is more visionary than some recent Ghanaian leaders.

“The future of Ghana is safe under President Akufo-Addo because under his tenure the country has witnessed infrastructural development,” Mr. Kwabena Ampofo Appiah told Kwame Tutu on Anopa Nkomo on Accra based Kingdom FM 107.7.

According to him, the President’s focus on revamping the private sector for economic growth places him in a better positon than many of his predecessors with regards to the transformation of the economy and driving progress.

Mr. Ampofo’s assessment of the government comes in the wake of other top and popular NDC members sympathising with Ghanaians on what they say is a difficult eceonomic situation in the country

He blamed Ex-President John Mahama for his inability to expand infrastructure in the country during his tenure, he maintained that Akufo-Addo’s ‘private sector-led’ growth agenda is more likely to grow the economy and create better opportunities for Ghanaians compared to infrastructure investments.
