Former President John Dramani Mahama has been asked to deal with his 'mess' before thinking of fixing another person's own.

The Presidential candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) who is currently on a tour in the newly-created regions says he will fix all the 'mess' being created by the ruling administration.

“By the grace of God, next year, 2020, is an election year. And I know that by the grace of God, Inshallah, the NDC is coming back into government. We are coming back to fix every mess so that Ghanaians can have some peace of mind. We’ll fix every mess nicely and relieve you of your burden,” he is reported to have said.

However speaking to Agya Kwabena On UTV's late news, a member of the Communication team of the NPP, Ernest Kumi said: "The mess to clear is the one you created yourself."
