The National Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Mr. Sammi Awuku has indicated that all volunteer groups affiliated to the party will be registered and have their activities streamlined.

He said this will begin to be operational from Tuesday, 10th September, 2019.

According to him, the underpinning factor for this novelty is for the party to direct and properly structure the activities of all volunteer groups to be in sync with the party's national campaign activities for 2020.

The National Officers of the NPP had early this year met with the various volunteer groups affiliated to the NPP in efforts to fraternize with their leaders to map out strategies ahead of the 2020 elections.

Speaking on Oman Fm's hottest evening political show, "Boiling Point", he was confident that, the registration of these volunteer groups affiliated to the NPP will have their activities properly regulated.

"I sent a proposal to the Steering Committee and National Executive Committee of the party which was to allow all volunteer groups affiliated to the NPP be registered"

"I have been given the greenlight by the Steering Committee to implement that" he said.

"Once these volunteer group affiliated to us are registered, then the rules and regulations governing the conduct of volunteer groups will be outlined to the group," he stressed.
