We Want Barima Sarpong As MP For Afigya Sekyere East Constituency - Sekyere Youth Insist
The Youth of Afigya Sekyere East Constituency is calling on Barima Sarpong to lead them in the upcoming Constituency Primaries.
According to a statement copied to peacefmonline.com, they are of the view that the development of Afigya Sekyere East constituency demands people who make conscious and right decisions today in order to better the future of our people and that of the nation as a whole.
“Against this background, as the youth of the constituency, we want to reaffirm our resolve to call on Mr. Barima Sarpong to make himself available to contest in the upcoming NPP parliamentary primaries,” part of the statement read.

The development of Afigya Sekyere East constituency demands that as a people, we make conscious and right decisions today in order to better the future of our people and that of the nation as a whole. Against this background, as the youth of the constituency, we want to reaffirm our resolve to call on Mr. Barima Sarpong to make himself available to contest in the upcoming NPP parliamentary primaries.
We assure Mr. Barima Sarpong of our readiness to offer him an unflinching support every step of the way. We are therefore prepared to pick and pay for his nomination form and also cover his filing fee, whatever the cost. We make this commitment for a million and one reasons including the following;
1. Barima's commitment to the people of our constituency and New Patriotic Party from his childhood till date is unmatched.
2. He is God-fearing, humble and respectful to all, whether young or old, rich or poor.
3. Barima is diligent and strategic in any work assigned him and he is very much on top of his game politically, professionally and academically.
4. He is a TRUE son of Afigya Sekyere East who was born and brought up on our soil with us, he knows us just as we know and trust him well.
5. He is a mentor and a role model for many of our people, and such a distinct example of our time can surge up the votes of the party to enhance our chances of retaining power for President Akufo-Addo.
With these and many other reasons, we tip Barima Sarpong as the most competent to represent the best interest of our people in the Parliament of Ghana.
