Callum Hudson-Odoi Agrees New Chelsea Contract!

The forward, who will turn 19 in November, grew in influence throughout the 2018/19 season, winning himself a place in the side and ending the campaign with five goals and a string of assists. He became Chelsea’s youngest-ever England international when making his debut for Gareth Southgate’s side in a Euro 2020 qualification win against Czech Republic at Wembley, and picked up our Young Player of the Year award in May.

His new deal commits him to the club he has trained at since the age of eight until at least 2024. He is currently in the latter stages of his rehabilitation from an Achilles injury suffered in April that brought a premature end to his breakthrough season for club and country, in which he made 24 Chelsea appearances as well as playing two games for England.

‘It’s an amazing feeling,’ Hudson-Odoi said after signing his contract. ‘It’s been a long wait but it’s done now and I’m really happy about that. I’ve been a Chelsea player since I was eight and this is the right club for me to be at.

‘I want to lift as many trophies as possible, win as many games as possible and contribute to as many goals as I can as well. As a team, we just want to work hard to achieve the best results we can. I’m delighted everything has been agreed and now I’m just looking forward to properly getting back.’
