Coup d'état Plot: Go ‘Hard’ On Plotters – Gov’t Told
Private legal practitioner, Captain (Rtd) Nkrabea Effah Dartey wants conspirators of a recent coup plot to face the wrath of the law.
He said in an interview with NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’ that government must go 'hard' on all those connected to the 'evil plot'.
A joint security operation on Friday led to the retrieval of several arms, explosive devices and ammunition from locations in Accra and Kpone-Bawaleshie in Dodowa.
Some three civilians are in police custody for their roles in an elaborate plan to destabilize the state.
The former Member of Parliament (MP) for Berekum Constituency, however noted that, “I don’t know why people think so evil. I just don’t understand. I was shocked when I heard the news.”
