Don't Defect From NPP; We're The Best Party For Ghana - Joe Ghartey Tells NPP Footsoldiers

The Greater Accra youth wing of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) has held a Regional general meeting  to bridge the gap between the party's top hierarchy and foot soldiers.

The meeting was organized by the Regional youth leader, Moses Abor at the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) on Sunday, September 22, 2019 under the theme: “Bringing The Government To The Doorstep Of The Youth”.

The meeting which form part of “agenda maintain and increase” of the Regional youth wing was aimed at working to retain power for the NPP, come 2020.

Addressing a gathering at the meeting, Mr. Abor charged all constituency youth organizers in the Region to engage government appointees on relevant issues regarding the party.

“We will not allow anybody to come and spoil our future…We are going to work hard to support Nana Akufo Addo to succeed 2020 elections and I know NPP is going to be in power 20 years and beyond,” he said.

Mr. Abor also inaugurated various Committees set up for victory 2020 elections which included a Planning committee and Special Project Committee.

The Committee members comprised staunch members of the NPP.

He also donated two cars and two motor bikes to some constituency youth organizers and Regional TESCON Secretariat to facilitate their activities for the party and further urged all youth groups to rally behind President Nana Akufo-Addo for a second term in office.

Guest speaker during the meeting, Minister for Railway Development; Hon. Joe Gyartey admonished the youth not to defect from the party but show allegiance that cannot be challenged.

To him, there's no party that can offer Ghanaians unique opportunities to improve their lives than the NPP.

Present at the meeting were party executives and government appointees.
