Ill Take NPP To Jubilee House Jake

Mr Jake Otanka Obetsebi Lamptey, one of the leading aspirants of the New Patriotic Party National Chairmanship slot, has described himself as The master driver to take NPP to the Jubilee House in 2012. He has, therefore, enjoyed delegates attending the NPP national conference taking place at the VIP wing of the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi today to vote massively for the driver who knows the way to the Jubilee House. In a special message to the delegates, he called on them to choose the Master and not the apprentice for National Chairman position because he knows the way from opposition to government. He insisted that this was not the time to experiment or to take chances and pledged to work tirelessly to unify the party at national and constituency levels. He said would make the NPP more professional; resource and motivate the members to ensure its NPPs victory in 2012. On his long-term plan for the party, Mr Obetsebi-Lamptey gave the assurance that he would not take a job in government if the NPP wins the 2012 Election. I will work in the party to make it the natural party of government and make sure that no one who contributes to our success is forgotten or left behind, he stated. According to Mr Obetsebi Lamptey, he was the NPP Chairman for the Greater Accra Region who led the party from minority to majority and from nine seats in Parliament to 16. He was also the national campaign manager for 2000 when the NPP moved from opposition to government. He said in view of the sloppy performance of the NDC and for the sake of Ghana, it was important the NPP was brought back to govern the nation for prosperity and development.
