NPP Primaries: Yankah, Adorye, Nii Lante Win

Minister of State in charge of Tertiary Education, Professor Kwesi Yankah has won the NPP primaries in the Agona East constituency in the Central Region.

He won with 267 votes while his competitors Prince Yaw Essah, a Chartered Accountant, and Dr Kennedy Abrokwa, an Economics Lecturer at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) managed 127 and 175 votes respectively in the NPP primaries held on Saturday, 28th September, 2019.

Kpone Katamanso

Hopeson Adorye who contested in the Kpone Katamanso constituency won with 321 votes while his close contender, Williams Asante won with 203 votes

The Kpone Katamanso seat is currently being occupied by NDC’s Joseph Nii Laryea Afotey Agbo.

Korle Klottey 

In the Korle Klottey constituency, Prince Appiah Debrah a.k.a “Osu boy” was elected as NPP’s parliamentary candidate with 511 votes.

His closest contender, Harold Kwatekwei Quartey also managed to poll 300 votes representing 37% of the total votes.

Odododiodio 

Edward Patrick Nii Lante Bannerman was chosen as the candidate for the Odododiodoo Constituency. He won with 543 votes to beat three other contenders.
