Members of the Washington DC chapter of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the NPP Loyal Ladies, joined forces on the 28th of September, 2019 to organize a get together, aimed at bringing members together to network.

The Second Lady of the Republic of Ghana, Mrs. Samira Bawumia, graced the ocassion which took place in Alexandria-Washington, USA.

She shared with them, government's policies and programmes, aimed at enhancing the lives of citizens, both home and abroad, and explained that the NPP government was here to serve and transform Ghana, ensuring proper accountability to the good people of Ghana.

She further stressed, that government was determined to build a robust and strong economy, being the fastest growing, not only Africa but the world. She added that every sector of the economy had seen tremendous progress and next year Ghanaians will see rapid development in the Nation.

She finally thanked them for upholding and supporting "The Year of Return",making it a very successful initiative to boost the tourism sector.

The group in return pledged their unwavering support, and called on other diasporans to also support the transformation agenda of the NPP government.

Guests present at the event were the Managing Director of State Housing Company, Mr. Kwabena Ampofo Appiah, President of the NPP Loyal Ladies, Ms. Adwoa Pomaah Sanwu as well as Mr. Fiifi Mensah Chairman, Bantama Constituency, supported by his 2nd Vice Chairman and Mr. Charles Nii Teiko Tagoe, a Presidential Staffer.
