Shatta Wale Reveals How Much He Charges For Local & International Shows

A-list artist, Shatta Wale has revealed how much he charges for local and international shows in an interview with Paul Adom Otchere on Metro TV’s Good Evening Ghana which was aired on the network on Thursday evening.

The figure, the controversial artist mentioned ultimately makes him the artist with the highest booking fee in Ghana. Shatta Wale said for a back-to-back 2-hour program, he charges as high ₵300,000 and for international shows, he charges over $50,000.

Shatta Wale, who was answering a wide range of questions pertaining to his craft, persona and the music industry in general also shed light on his infamous brawl with Stonebwoy at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

Speaking to seasoned journalist and ace broadcaster Paul Adom Okyere on Good Adding a new twist to the story, the Dancehall artist said he was actually going to the washroom when he inadvertently ended up on stage.

When Paul drew his attention to the fact that he told the whole of Ghana in a previous interview that he said he was going to congratulate Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale replied by saying Ghanaians never believed him when he said he was merely going to congratulate Stonebwoy so now he has changed the narrative.
