New Edubiase MP Donates A House To A 72 Year Old Homeless Woman

The Member of Parliament for New Edubiase constituency, Hon. Geoege Oduro has built a new house for a woman at Atwereboana. The legislator who is also the deputy minister of Agriculture handed over the new house with digital address number A3-2342-3879 to the homeless and stranded woman.

An elder of the community, Mr. Kosoko explained that the MP was on his normal house to house campaign when the homeless woman met him and begged for money.  

He continued that the entire story unfolded when Hon. George Oduro requested that the woman takes him to her house. The woman according to Mr. Kosoko told the MP that she has no place to sleep because her family home had been destroyed by thunderstorm.

The MP purchased building materials and contracted masons to work on the new house for the woman and her family.

The Iconic MP who is known by his constituents to be a philanthropist and is reported to have done same for another woman at Subiriso, also a farming community in the Adansi South District before the 2016 general elections.

The woman amidst tears and praises thanked the MP and asked for blessings so that he can win the seat again in 2020.

Before 2016 elections, the New Edubiase Parliamentary seat was a consolidated seat for the opposition NDC  but by the good works  of Hon. Oduro, which the people in the constituency appreciate, the NPP won  it for the first time.
