I’m Just Following The Bible - Bukom Banku Justifies Consulting ‘Juju’ Woman Before Bouts

Boxer cum comedian Braimah Kamako has given justifications for his consultations with a fetish priestess before bouts.

According to the man widely known as Bukom Banku, it has become a ritual for him to seek spiritual assistance ahead of fights.

It emerged somewhere last year that the loudmouth boxer was in a relationship with a Bukom-based fetish priestess and was on the verge of marrying her.

But in an interview with Abeiku Santana on his Atuu Show, Banku revealed that the woman in question plays the dual role of being his ‘girlfriend’ and a ‘spiritual father’.

“She is not my wife, she’s my girlfriend. She is working boxing for me. When I get a fight, she watches the pot inside for me. She is a spiritual father so when I’m going to fight she prays for me. I have plenty sex with her. Ghanaians are not afraid of anything. We are strong people so we don’t fear anything”.

Interestingly, the same Banku who holds pre-bout talks with a fetish priestess does not believe the juju phenomenon exist in boxing.

“I can’t believe that. God is the greatest. So there is no juju in boxing’

Quizzed on why a staunch Muslim as he claims to be will be in bed with a fetish priestess, Banku cited the Biblical phrase “Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s and give to God what is God’s” to defend his affair with the spiritualist.
