We Will Never Revisit ‘Dumsor’ Despite PDS Contract Termination – Gov’t Assures
The Vice-Chairman of the Energy Committee in Parliament, George Mireku Duker has assured that the Nana Addo-led government will not revisit 'dumsor' in spite of its decision to terminate the PDS deal.
He insisted that government had no choice than to terminate the deal to save the public purse.
The PDS deal was finally terminated by the Akufo-Addo government in a statement which communicated the termination of the 25-year power concession agreement with PDS over irregularities found with the company’s demand guarantee.
