The National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi has challenged Kwami Sefa Kayi over a recent list of family and friends allegedly appointed by the ruling government.

The host of Peace FM morning show ‘Kokrokoo’ tried to correct Sammy Gyamfi that the Attorney General Gloria Akuffo is not related to President Akufo-Addo; however, the latter disagreed insisting that she is.

Background

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has released a fifty-member list of family and friends appointees within the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government.

According to the NDC, Akufo-Addo’s NPP government has championed corruption through nepotism and further called for enactment of anti-nepotism laws to check abuse of power by leaders in the country.
