Member of Parliament (MP) for the Juaboso Constituency in the Western Region, Kwabena Mintah Akando has dared members of the President Akufo-Addo government to mention any one dam constructed as promised during the 2016 elections.

According to him, what the NPP government can boast of is the rehabilitation of existing dams but not for irrigation purposes as promised.

"See, I dare members of the Akufo-Addo government to boldly tell me publicly that they have fulfilled every promise made to Ghanaians, especially the '1village, 1dam' which they promised would be used for irrigation purposes," he said.

He emphatically stressed, "I say on authority that not a single dam has been constructed in Ghana under President Akufo-Addo's watch".

Kwabena Mintah Akando as a panelist on UTV's 'Adekye Nsroma' political discussion segment advised Ghanaians to make sure they refer politicians by their words.

"I urge Ghanaians to take us on by every single word of promise made to them to prevent us from telling lies during campaign times," he added.
