Sammi Awuku, the National Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has engaged participants of African Students and Alumni Forum (ASAF) Regional Workshop at Villa Boutique Hotel in Osu, Accra, urging the students to ride on their ingenuity and creativity to change the African continent.

At the launch of the maiden edition of ASAF, Mr. Awuku indicated that the event seeks to provide opportunities and a voice to students and youth in the African Continent to brighten every corner they find themselves, utilizing their networks to serve the interest of the African continent and their respective countries.

"I will urge all the participants to ride on their ingenuity and creativity to brighten every corner they find themselves and utilize their networks to serve the interest of the African continent and their respective countries whilst building their entrepreneurial abilities", he advised.

He stressed, saying that he is looking forward to cementing the many links he has identified between ASAF and the Youth Employment Agency to the benefit of the teeming youth in Ghana.

He, therefore, applauded the organizers of such a wonderful forum for bringing the young visionary minds from the various countries on the African continent together to harness their potentials.

Other speakers at the event were the Head of European Union delegation to Ghana, Ambassador Diana Acconcia, Professor Etienne Ehouan Ehile, Secretary General Association of African Universities, Ms. Antoaneta Angelova-Krasteva, the Director for Innovation, International Cooperation and Sports, European Commission , Mr Bismark Amefianu of the All African Students Union and Cosmas Kombat, Co-Lead,African Students and Alumni Forum (ASAF)
