The Glory Temple of Perez Chapel International, over the weekend, donated items valued over 3000 GHC to the Potters Village Orphanage at Dodowa in the Greater Accra Region.

The donation by the church forms part of activities marking their 7th Year Anniversary Celebration and also as a sign of the church's social responsibility to the needy.

The items included bags of rice, sugar, assorted drinks, milo and boxes of water among others.

Presenting the items to the management of the Orphanage, Rev. Ismat Yeboah noted that the donation is "to acknowledge and express our profound gratitude to your institution for the good work you have been doing for the needy children in this country and the community".

He further assured the Orphanage of their continual support saying "as a church, our Lord and Master Jesus Christ admonished us to take good care of the poor and needy in society...We are also hopeful that these items would go a long way to support your home in your efforts to cater for the needy children in society".

Founder of the Ophanage, Dr. Jane Irina Adu received the items and expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the Glory Temple of Perez Chapel for their kind gesture.
