Who Wears The Overall Best Driver In Ghana Badge?

After a gruelling four-stage screening which has seen thousands fallen leaving 6 women and 35 men standing,  the forecourt of the State House on November 21 is set for the grand finale of the Ghana Driver & Road Safety Awards 2019.

The Ghana Driver & Road Safety Awards is organised by the GDRSA foundation with the support of the National Road Safety Authority, Ministry of Transport, DVLA, MTTD of Ghana Police Service, and the Ghana Road Transport Coordinating Council.

Themed “rewarding driving excellence, promoting road safety”, the Ghana Driver & Road Safety awards aims to drive the agenda of “Ghana Beyond Road Traffic Crashes” in support of the development of the nation.

The Overall Best Driver 2019 will drive home in a brand-new Suzuki Alto vehicle - other category winners will also go home with various goodies in prizes.

The event will be graced by Vice president Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and the Minister of Transport, Hon. Kwaku Ofori Asiamah among other dignitaries.

GDRSA foundation has noted that road traffic crashes deprive the nation of valuable human capital and causes unnecessary destruction of economic value.

The 41 finalists are represented from commercial transport station across the country with others from Uber, and some corporate organisations.
