God Should Turn Kennedy Agyapong Into A Preacher - Dr. Lawrence Tetteh

The Founder of the World Miracle Outreach, a non-governmental organisation and international evangelist, Dr Lawrence Tetteh has described the Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Mr Kennedy Agyapong as a bold person.

According to him, it was his prayer that God will one day turn Mr Agyapong into a preacher so that he could use his "boldness" as a preacher to do God's work. Appearing on Accra based Net2 television on Wednesday morning [December 4, 2019] to promote an upcoming crusade at Madina Zongo junction, Dr Tetteh said some of the things Mr Agyapong has been talking about on television and radio shows his "boldness."

Mr Agyapong has been on a crusade this week putting out what he claims was a dossier investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, has been working with which contains names and personal details of people who are on the watch list of the investigative journalist.

The dossier he claims contains personal data, addresses, telephone numbers, names of spouses and investments, the names on the list have been making at various financial institutions in Ghana and abroad since 2012. Some of the names on the list he claims were people the investigative journalist has been compensating on a monthly basis.

Mr Agyapong has been putting out the names on the watch list since Monday and commenting on it, whilst appearing on Net2 after Mr Agyapong had finished with his programme Wednesday morning, Dr Tetteh said, "the things he [Agyapong] is saying here, how many of us can say it."

He said it was, therefore, his prayer that God will continue to use him [Agyapong] and that when he finishes his work as a legislator, he should become a preacher. Dr Tetteh said most prominent people in Ghana are "very theological minded."

Reacting to references to him as someone who is able to quote Bible verses without referring to the Bible, Mr Agyapong sarcastically said he did Bible Knowledge (BK) and Religious Studies (RS) in secondary school and Theology in the university. The prayer for Mr Agyapong Wednesday morning came after he had as usual appeared on the television station on his crusade of what he describes as "exposing" the investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

Dr Tetteh on his part had appeared at the television station to promote his upcoming crusade at the forecourt of Oman FM at Madina Zongo junction which is taking place on December 13th and 14th.

He said for a long time no big crusade has been organised in the Madina Zongo junction area.

He said they have been doing crusades in a lot of places in Ghana but recently realised that many churches have not paid attention to the Madina area even though there are many churches in the area.
