President’s Proclamation Of The Year Of Return Is Biblical

Reverend Dr. Princess Ocansey, Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NEKOTECH and Royal Return USA-GHANA on Wednesday said the President’s initiative with the Year of Return was timely and fulfilled Biblical prophecy.

Speaking at a News Conference to launch the “Return of the Royals” an event to commemorate 400 years since the first 20 enslaved Africans landed in America, quoting from Genesis 15:13-14 saying, “Know certainly that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs and will serve them and they will inflict them 400 hundred years.

And also, the nation whom they serve, I will judge. Afterward, they shall come out with great possessions”

She said it was not an accident that the President declared 2019 as the Year of Return as the event scheduled to take place from December 7 to December 16 would feature programmes such as the Business and Dual Citizenship Forum, Discussions on Business and Investment Opportunities in Ghana, a travel to the slave dungeons in Cape Coast, Adoption, Renaming and Baptism at the Royal Ocansey Healing Waters in Ada, Enstoolment and Coronation of Chief, among others.

The event would also bring on board some business giants such as Rev Dr Michael V. Roberts, founder of the Billionaire Brothers, Mr Gregory Jackson, founder and CEO of Jackson Automotive Management, Rev Dr Jamal Bryant, Senior Pastor of the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, Bishop Jerry Demmer, Founder and CEO of the Absolute Word Church, among others to hold seminars and explore opportunities in business areas.

Mr Akwasi Awuah Ababio, Director for Diaspora Affairs, Office of the President and Chairman of the Year of Return said the efforts of government to bring back fellow Africans from the diaspora was to help in the development of the country and to achieve the “Ghana Beyond Aid” agenda.

He said the initiative by the Return of the Royals team was a laudable one and urged other brothers across the ocean to join in the movement back to the soils of their origin.
