Rachel Appoh Donates Farming Items To Gomoa Youth In Agric
Former Member of Parliament(MP) for Gomoa Central constituency in the Central Region, Rachel Appoh, with her foundation, the Obaa Sima Foundation has donated some farming items worth about Ghc 22,600 to Gomoa Youth in Agric.
It forms part of the activities of this years Farmers Day celebration held last Friday, December 6.
The executives of the Gomoa Youth in Agric received the items on behalf of the over one hundred young men and women farmers of the association.
The items included; 150 pieces of Wellington boots and cutlasses and 10 street lights for their farming communities.
She said the gesture was due to the fact that the young ones have shown great enthusiasm in farming.
