NPPs Anokye Does Not Scare Me One Bit; They Can Make Him EC Boss, NDC Will Still Win – Says NDC’s IT Dir.
The Director of IT for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Osei Kwame Griffiths, has said he is not worried about the expertise of the Director-General of the National Communication Authority (NCA), Mr Joe Anokye, as far as IT concerned.
Mr Anokye, an IT expert who worked with NASA, was highly praised for shoring up the then-opposition New Patriotic Party’s IT expertise and infrastructure in collating and tallying the results of the s2016 elections which the party won.
Speaking on Accra FM on Thursday, 12 December 2019, Mr Griffiths said: “I heard Mr Anokye was brought from NASA but I haven’t seen his CV, I haven’t seen the work he has done before”.
“My Focus”, he said, “is not on him”, adding: “My focus is on the work that NDC has assigned me to do”.
“I fear nothing in the area of IT and technology and, so, I am not scared of Mr Anokye one bit. They can make him the EC boss, the NDC will win the elections.”
