NPP Begin Series Of Engagements With Volunteer Groups; Meets Loyal Ladies And Staunch Queens

The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has began a series of engagements with Volunteer Groups which have signed up to work for the Party in the lead up to the 2020 elections.

Over 300 Volunteer Groups have picked up volunteer registration forms from the NPP Headquarters, filled and submitted same and will swing into action proper soon, as the 2020 elections draws near.

The National Organiser of the NPP, Sammi Awuku together with some top Party members yesterday, Thursday, December 12, 2019 began a series of meetings with the various volunteer groups.

The meeting started with the leadership of  the popular Loyal Ladies and Staunch Queens  and at the centre of discussions was the need to fashion out ways of working collectively to ensure victory for the NPP in the upcoming elections.

The meetings also delved into the programme of activities lined up by these groups and what role the party can play to help make them successful.

According to Mr. Awuku, the meeting is the first of many to follow and aimed at holding discussions with all Volunteer Groups that have registered with the NPP.

Describing the meeting as a great interaction laced with unparalleled determination, Mr. Awuku expressed optimism that the role of the various volunteer groups will in no small measure add to the fortunes of the party.

He was accompanied to the meeting by the NPP National Youth Organiser, Henry Nana Boakye,  Deputy National Youth Organiser, Perpetual Lomokie, CEO for SIC Life, Savings and Loans, Amma Frimpomaa Dwumah and the Deputy Executive Director of the National Service Scheme (NSS), Gifty Afia Oware.
