Comment: Lets Watch These Leaders

In Ghana today, there are many people going round the country professing to be leaders of churches and Men of God. So pious do these people look that many innocent members of the public really tend to believe them to be what they profess to be. However, many of these so called Men of God who take on self acclaimed titles as Bishops, Apostles, and Evangelists among others are often times seen in anger, even to the extent of fighting furiously in public. A few weeks ago, the P&P published a story of a so called evangelist who went on rampage in Kumasi and assaulted a woman, whom he accused of making derogatory remarks about him. As leaders of the various churches, these self-made pastors must know that they are expected to set good examples for their flock to emulate. After all it is said that by their fruits ye shall know them As a nation, we need people with good morals to enable us move forward in the right direction. The P&P believes that the time has come for the religious leaders of this country to teach their followers what is morally right. However before they could lead the way for others to follow, it is imperative on them to lead exemplary lives worthy of emulation by all. P&P
