Employers Should Pay Workers Well

The Reverend Dr. Kwabena Opuni-Frimpong, Chief Executive Officer, Alliance for Christian Advocacy Africa, has called on employers to pay their workers well to guarantee hard work and their faithfulness to duty.

He also implored all Public and Civil Servants as well as government appointees to be committed to transparency and accountability while the citizens abided by their civic responsibilities, sense of nationalism and dedication to nation-building.

In a goodwill message to Ghanaians, Rev Opuni-Frimpong, a former General Secretary of the Christian Council of Ghana, asked church leaders to be dedicated to their calling to serve God and country, “as we enter the year 2020.”

He said all those who professed love and faith in “The Triune God” needed to dedicate themselves anew to a closer and sincere walk with the Lord as Christians mark the Birth of Jesus Christ, the founder and saviour of the world.

He said the celebration of Christmas provided the opportunity for renewal of hope in the faithfulness of God, knowing that “faithful is He who has promised and He will do it.”

Rev. Opuni-Frimpong said Faithfulness is one of the moral attributes that God shares with humanity and that Christmas marks the celebration of God’s faithfulness, “Who in the moment of humankind's desperation, disconnection and darkness, gave the promise of a Saviour and Light to the World”.

“God wants us to be faithful as he is faithful”, he said.

He said in the New Year, parents should keep to their love for children while the children reciprocate with obedience.
