Most farmers have been discouraged by the bad nature of road networks leading to their communities and various marketing centres.
According to the farmers, the situation makes it difficult for them to convey their produce from their farm to the market centres, thereby leaving a significant chunk of the produce to go waste.
This deplorable road from Mangoase through Adawso to Akorabo which host several farming communities has not seen any upgrade for many years.
Drivers and farmers who ply this road to convey farm produce to the various market centres go through a lot of difficulties before getting to their destinations.
As a result, drivers charge exorbitant fares.
Speaking to the news team, the Assembly member of the area, Seth Lawer appealed to the authorities to help fix the road to encourage farming in the communities.
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Suhum Kraboa Coaltar, Margret Darko stated that, a lot of roads in the Municipality has been upgraded and that the remaining ones will be given the needed attention
