Nobody Can Stop EC From Compiling a New Voters' Register – Kamal-deen
A Deputy Communications Director of the governing New Patriotic Party [NPP], Kamal-deen Abdulai, has made it clear that, the Electoral Commission [EC] cannot be stopped by any political party in its quest to compile a new voters’ register.
According to him, the commission is “abide by law and they are lawfully doing the expected. Nobody can stop them.”
His comment follows series of demonstrations by the largest opposition, National Democratic Congress [NDC] and its allied parties to stop the EC from compiling a new register for the December 7 polls.
“The NDC and other parties can boycott the registration, it will come off as scheduled,” he said in an interview with NEAT FM’s morning show 'Ghana Montie'.
