Chelsea Push Up After Edubiase Win

Chelsea have given their hopes of premiership survival a boost at least for now after beating New Edubiase 2-0 on Saturday in the Glo Premier League. Playing at home at the Golden City Park, Chelsea were tipped to pick all three points as the league debutants failed to threaten. Goals from Abdul Basit on 30 minutes and Ibrahim Isaaka on the 90th minute mark sealed the day for the Beechem side. The result leaves new coach Mohammed Gargo still in search of a win after three matches in charge as he hopes to avoid relegation with eight matches to go. New Edubiase find themselves in the bottom three of the standings.
