Renowned Journalist, Kwami Sefa Kayi has strongly condemned a violent clash between NPP supporters of former Member of Parliament for Mampong, Francis Addai-Nimoh and incumbent MP Sarpong Ampratwum.

Francis Addai-Nimoh, was reportedly prevented by the supporters of the incumbent MP from filing his nomination forms to contest the party’s primary.

This resulted in a brawl that injured some of the supporters.

Reacting to this in an interaction with Dan Kweku Yeboah during the Sports segment of Peace FM morning show 'Kokrokoo', Kwami Sefa Kayi said: "there is no sense in this...did you see any family member of the politician you are fighting for at the scene? All because of politics…everything has been politicized in the country; how can we run a country like this? Meanwhile, the wife and family members of those you are fighting for are comfortable in their homes...very stupid"
