Jackie Appiah Educates Market Women And Donates Items To Fight Coronavirus

The coronavirus pandemic in Ghana has seen many celebrities and public figures show the world how philanthropic they can be.

The likes of Criss Waddle, Shatta Wale, Gloria Sarfo, Tracey Boakye, Despite Brothers, Asamoah Gyan, and many others have blessed the lives of people who might have some challenges getting food and other toiletries to keep themselves safe during this coronavirus pandemic.

Award-winning Ghanaian actress Jackie Appiah has also joined the train by donating relief items to some market women to help fight the spread of coronavirus disease.

She donated the items to women at Texpo Market, Spintex, Accra, and also took the chance to explain how the pandemic spreads and what should be done to curb it.

Jackie also took the women through proper hand washing procedures and advised them to observe social distancing.

She shared the video of her donation on her Instagram page with the caption: “As an actress I make it a point to always give back to society in one way or the other. The coronavirus outbreak (Covid-19) has taken the world by surprise and it’s almost like the entire world is upside down so a little act of kindness is expected of every citizen of the world. This took place a few days before the lockdown.”
