Coronavirus May Spread Twice As Fast As Previously Thought - With One Patient Infecting 5.7 Others - Wuhan Study Shows

Coronavirus could spread twice as quickly as previously feared, researchers found.

The bug was first detected in Wuhan, China, in December 2019 before spreading worldwide, killing 109,000 and infecting more than 1.7 million. 

One carrier infected an average of 5.7 people in Wuhan, scientists from Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico found.
