Legendary gospel singer Philipa Baafi has donated some items to residents in Old Bortianor who have been affected by government’s lockdown directive, aimed at containing the spread of coronavirus.
 
The gesture was earlier done to the Minister of Gender and Social Protection who later ordered the distribution to the needy.
 
Led by the award-winning singer and her team, items like water and food were shared to the aged, disabled and the needy in Old Bortianor, a suburb in Accra.
 
“We know the government is doing its best to support the people. We are also doing our part to support the government to feed the needy in these hard times. Together we can win this fight against COVID-19.” Philipa Baafi said during the donation
