COVID-19: Ghana’s Case Count Now 4,263, Death Rate Increases To 22

Ghana's COVID-19 case count has increased to 4263, according to the latest update by the Ghana Health Service (GHS).

Recoveries are now 378, and with four more fatalities having been recorded, the death toll has shot up to 22.

5 more persons are said to be "critically or moderately ill."

Per the statement on the GHS website, "while the number of active cases is now at 3,907,  the total number of persons tested is 155,201.
 
Additionally, between the 7th and 8th May, a total of 251 new cases have been reported with the majority of them from the Greater Accra Region (205 cases representing 82%).”
