Kwame Aboagye Distributes 5,000 Nose Masks In His Constituency

The member of parliament for Asene-Akroso-Manso constituency in the Eastern region of Ghana, Hon. George Kwame Aboagye (popularly called "Oluwa") in collaboration with his district chief executive, Hon. Alex Incoom have distributed five thousand nose masks to the people in the constituency/district including market women at Akyem Akroso market which is counted among the busiest and largest markets in the Eastern region as part of measures implemented to fight coronavirus in the district/constituency.

Hon. George Kwame Aboagye (Oluwa) during the distribution of the items divulged that the main motive for giving out nose/face masks freely to his constituents is to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the constituency since the five districts around their district have recorded number of cases.

In addition to the nose/face masks distributed by the MP, he has also handed over thermometers and hand gloves to the district health directorate to check the temperature of people who visit the various health centers within the Asene-Manso-Akroso district before getting access to service.

Hon. George Kwame Aboagye has tasked the district health personnel to work assiduously in order to prevent the spread of the deadly virus in the constituency/district.

The district chief executive of Asene-Manso-Akroso; Hon. Alex Incoom in his measures to combat coronavirus in his district has cautioned traders in Akroso market to put on their nose masks before entering the market or else face punishment by the district since all the five districts around them have recorded Covid-19 cases and do not such record in his leadership as DCE.

Some of the market women who received the nose masks pledged to obey the protocols implemented by the district to combat the spread of the virus as they took them with joy and showed much appreciation to their MP and DCE for their concern.
