The Northern Regional Youth Wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has donated thousands of locally-produced face masks, hand sanitizers and liquid soap to traders in the Region.

Led by the party's Deputy Youth Organizer, Ruth Dela Seddoh, the youth wing on Wednesday 13th May 2020 distributed the items to market women in towns like Tolon, Wulensi, Hill Top, Yendi Township, Nayiri Palace and Saboba Township.

According to the team, who were embarking on three days tour in the Region, the intervention was part of the party's contribution to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

The team encouraged the traders and all citizens to take full responsibility of protecting themselves and adhere to the preventive measures against the disease.

The team further thanked the National, Regional and all the party’s executives as well as the youth activists for supporting the project.
