‘You're A Good Artiste . . . I Love You & I'm Sorry!’ - Sista Afia Apologizes To Freda Rhymz

Ghanaian female music sensation, Sista Afia has rendered an unqualified apology to rapper Freda Rhymz over their misunderstanding which nearly resulted in them fisting each other.

The two talented artistes have been showcasing their musical prowess to entertain their fans and followers on social media, and also carve a niche for themselves in showbiz.

Sista Afia and Freda Rhymz, who have always been good friends, fire shots at themselves in a rap contest and when it heated up, they took it from a friendly zone to a physical confrontation which nearly ending up in a brawl at the premises of TV3 on Monday, May, 18, 2020.

Explaining why something that started as showmanship turned into a personal banter, Sista Afia told host Nana Ama Mcbrown on Saturday's 'United Showbiz' on UTV that, despite what has recently transpired between them; she believes in the artistic abilities of Freda Rhymz and doesn't intend for her and her friend to gain negative popularity.

Sista Afia, therefore, apologized to Freda Rhymz saying “all the arguments, the back and forth, the physical whatever; Freda, I love Freda. No matter what, I love Freda but I didn't agree with some things she did. And I am a human being, there are times I will understand and times I won't understand a human being. It's what I am facing right now but I am not going to sit here and lie. Freda is a very good artiste. I love her”.

“So, I will take upon myself to tell her that I am sorry. I'm deeply sorry. She's my sister and I think if I'm bold enough to say that I am sorry, I think if you feel comfortable or if you feel that you have to apologize to me; that's your own time but I don't want to go back and forth with you ever again. This is sad and this is bad. I don't like to see myself on TV being angry. Do you understand? So, I really want to reach out to you and say I'm sorry. And I might not understand your beefing thing but I love you,” she added.
