The number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Africa is increasing steadily, with 107,412 cases as at May 24.
The number of Covid-19 deaths on the Continent has also increased to 3,246 within the same period.
Recoveries from the infection now stand at 42,626.
The Africa Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (AfricaCDC) announced this in a tweet.
“#COVID19 update in Africa (As of 24 May 2020, 9 am East Africa Time) 54 @_AfricanUnion Member States reporting 107,412 cases, 3,246 deaths, and 42,626 recoveries.”
