Bantama: Asenso-Boakye Wore A Facemask And Never Breached Social Distancing Rules During Donation

Some delegates and key influencers in Bantama Constituency in the Ashanti Region have rubbished claims by supporters of incumbent MP, Daniel Okyem Aboagye that aspiring MP for the area Mr. Francis Asenso-Boakye flouted the social distancing rules during his recent visit.

The supporters of Okyem Aboagye claims that Mr. Francis Asenso-Boakye shook hands and mingled with party members without facemask when donating about 700 street lights to the constituency to fight crime amid the coronavirus pandemic.

But delegates and key influencers in Bantama Constituency who were at the short presentation told Peacefmonline.com that “our incoming MP greeted us with his elbow and not handshake as they are saying. Everyone was in facemask and there are pictures to show.”

The group described the allegation as a “frustrating mindset” to dim the good gesture Mr. Asenso-Boakye exhibited.
