NPP North East Regional Youth Wing Sensitises Youth To New Voters’ Register

As part of efforts to whip up public interest in the upcoming mass voter registration exercise, the North East Regional Youth Wing of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has embarked on a sensitisation programme to mobilise the youth to participate in the compilation of the new voters’ register.

In line with that, the youth, led by the North East Regional Youth Organiser of the NPP, Mr Mumuni Muhammed Nurudeen, have been engaging NPP youth groups, polling station executives and electoral area coordinators in the region.

The youth were also advised to desist from electoral violence and focus on mobilising eligible voters to register.

Mobilise

Addressing the youth at separate gatherings in compliance with the COVID-19 safety protocols, Mr Nurudeen urged the youth of the party to unite and work hard to mobilise eligible voters to register.

“Victory 2020 is a shared responsibility that requires our collective efforts. So at this crucial moment, let’s all forget about our differences and work hard to ensure that we become victorious in the 2020 election. Our electoral fortunes in 2020 will largely depend on unity, commitment and hard work,” he stated.

Achievements

Mr Nurudeen also implored the youth to propagate the achievements of the government to enable the public to appreciate the good work of the government.

“The NPP government has done a lot of work and at this critical moment let’s all channel our energies into marketing these achievements to the public rather than engaging in politics of insults,” he stressed.
