The Ghana Meteorological Agency on Friday said it has observed that the marine environment of Nigeria stretching into Togo is engulfed by a rainstorm.
It said the storm is expected to produce moderate to heavy rains with strong winds over the ocean between 1100GMT to 1800GMT. An official statement issued in Accra said.
The storm is expected to induce cloudiness with possible rain and thunder developments over parts of the coast and inland areas of Volta, Eastern, Central, Greater Accra and Western regions.
It said general cloudiness with pockets of rain is expected over the northern sector.
