Our Lawyers Are Handling American Singer Rotimi For 'Stealing' Ofori Amponsah's Song - Appietus

Music Producer, Appietus says his lawyers are handling a copyright infringement issue with Nigerian-born American music star Rotimi.

Rotimi recently reported Ghanaian musician Mr. Drew for copyright infringement because the latter sampled his song ''Love Riddim''.

He had the musician's song blocked and removed from YouTube and all other streams.

A couple of days after, Rotimi was also caught sampling a song by Ofori Amponsah and Appietus and had social media users enter into discussions on whether or not he should taste the law of karma.

It appears Rotimi is going to have a legal battle as Appietus, speaking on Okay FM's 'Best Entertainment' with Halifax Ansah Addo, disclosed that he has charged his legal team over the issue.

He told host Halifax Ansah Addo that the lawyers are handling the case and that they're not going to absolve the American singer and movie star.

“We've called their attention to it that they've stolen our song...The lawyers are already dealing with the case . . . Did he forgive when somebody picked his song? If you didn't forgive, why should we forgive you? We're suing him'', he said.
