Sir John’s Beautiful Sister Allegedly Dies Of COVID-19

The campaign manager for the governing New Patriotic Party for the 2020 elections Peter Mac Manu and Deputy Trade Minister Carlos Ahenkorah are currently on admission at the Intensive Care Unit of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra after contracting COVID-19, Starr News reports.

The news comes after the death of Forestry Commission boss Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie popularly known as Sir John.

The former NPP General Secretary died on Wednesday 1st July, 2020 in Accra after he reportedly contracted the virus.

Mr. Owusu Afriyie’s sister is said to have died of the deadly days earlier and was scheduled for burial in August.

Education and Regional Integration ministers Mathew Opoku Prempeh and Dan Botwe are awaiting their results after running tests for the virus. Health Minister Kwaku Agyeman Many is recuperating after being hit by the virus.

Meanwhile, COVID-19 deaths in Ghana now stand at 117 with 4,467 active cases and 13,550 recoveries, the Ghana Health Service has announced on its website.
